There are all kinds of shoes,
for all kinds of people. Sometimes when
you try on a pair it feels perfect, but when you actually have to wear them
they end up creating blisters.
Some people will fit themselves
into fashionable shoes and no matter how much they chaff or rub, or how
uncomfortable they may be – they will suffer the pain because they match the
style they want.
Other times a shoe looks like
it might be a good fit, but the style is completely wrong, the color not just
right, or the workmanship leaves something to be desired.
Politicians are like shoes,
except people spend more time considering whether a shoe is a good fit than considering whether a politician is.

Well yes, and I can probably imagine what triggered the underlayment that you are still thinking about. After a good pair of shoes sometimes a good wrap for the knee is needed, you know to stop the random jerking...
