I have only given this a quick read...it is Monday morn and the day calls...but mostly I skipped some of LBJ's wonderfully crafted speech. I love your comment about the 1st and 3rd laws...spinning out of control or doing nothing...yes.
Now: or the order of say an IEP ( Individual Education Plan) which need be structured around achevements that can be objectively discernable and verified...I would love to see you formualate an Individual Action Plan that might encourage folks who see the dilemma to lay hands on ______ and put one foot in front of the other in order to _________in the realm that make most sense given their qualifications and gifts. I am going to think about it too. I'll come back. In the meantime... kick the tires and light the fires..wheels up...brief on climb out.
Jeannette, Your comment here probably applies to the Great Society Post, but I agree with your point. I will give it some thought too. I like the aviation metaphor, hopefully we won't run out of airspeed, altitude and ideas at the same time.
