The Morning After, Kind of

I am listening to James Carville explain why this election and the results weren't the Democrats fault, the Presidents fault, and is really a failure of the American populations ability to understand.  I listened to the President explain why he is now ready to negotiate on tweaks to health care, but the failure in the election is really not his fault.  The fact he never reached out to bring in Republicans as part of the policy discussions had nothing to do with this problem.

With that kind of soul searching it will be an interesting next two years.  Again my prayer is that both Republicans and Democrats can come together to lead our country.  When the dust settles I am thinking we don't move forward, we just spend more time finger pointing.  Fortunately history has shown when Congress does nothing the country is quite capable of thriving, so stalemate is not necessarily a bad thing.
