As we settle into this new
community we have been blessed with good neighbors.They are friendly, a little curious, and
maintain a fairly predictable routine.
George and Gracie stopped by this
morning to meet Momma kitty.
Jeannette, I believe the crane was enlarging himself as a display to ward off any aggressive behavior from an unfamiliar presence. I also assume this is the male as he put himself between the cat and his mate and then spread his wings in a display.

I wonder exactly what the body language of the crane was communicating. Beautiful bird...and I suspect kitty must be very respectful and cautious.
