Big 10 Football

Maybe the Big 10 Conference shouldn't plan on playing football on the 1st anymore.  As Dick Enberg would say;  "O" for Five... Oh my!

I try not comment in arenas where I know little to nothing... which could leave me quiet quite often on your blog as you have a variety of specialities. But I want to at least say hello to you today and Happy New Year and thank you for your encouragement in 2010. Here's to a great 2011.

Now a little math question arises in my mind from this post of yours:
1 minus ten = -9
but if you subsitute 0 for 5
wouldn't that change the equation?
substituting the "new values" of 0 for 5
you get 10=5x2 which translates in new values to 0x2=0
so 1 minus (10) or (5x2)or (0x2) or (0) = 1
Maybe this is government math?
The implications of any this are beyond me...

So now I'm back to my aforementioned theory; it's quite often that I shouldn't comment on your posts, but I am reading you and do often appreciate what you seem to be up to.

Thank you for the kind words. As a Psych major math is not my strong suite, but your figger'n seems right on, in a governmental sort of way. You should work for the IRS.

Either way you add it up, the Big 10 teams (Michigan, Michigan St, Penn St, Wisconsin and Northwestern) did not equal everyone else.

I try not to be one dimensional with my thoughts. I kind of think of myself as an Everyman's version of a Renaissance man who depends on spell check.

P.S. Liked the photographs, I am envious of your back (Front?) yard

The Big Ten is a power conference without a whole lot of power. Growing up in Minnesota this has always seemed normal, but now the whole conference seems infected.
