Yesterday the President said “let’s
shut the government down.” Today the Dem’s
and Republican’s in the Senate actually do what they are supposed to do and say
“let’s have a two-year budget, and the President says okay.” The ABC White House correspondent is terribly
confused, does the President want to shut down the government or not? Clearly the action of the Senate can in no
way be related to the threat by the President, and the experience of the
weekend shutdown that cost the Democrat’s so much political capital.
It is just quite simply a
complete and utter mystery on what could possibly be going on. Meanwhile, let’s have a big parade.
